What were the key milestones and successes for your company in 2024?
The biggest milestone this year was to prove and repeat uplifting growth in established operations by 100-200% using the methods we’ve been creating and refining over the last few years. We’ve established trust and confirmation with our existing clients and generated even more traction with new clients along the way. This resulted in massive growth and structural development for Golden Whale as a company.
In addition to that there were several smaller victories, including securing incredible talent for the company, establishing new method combinations that helped display the impact of our work and progressing into the highly profitable field of bonus and gamification optimisation.
What were the biggest challenges your company faced this year, and how did you successfully navigate them?
Golden Whale is still completely owned and funded by its founders, so there were the obvious challenges a bootstrapped company must face when moving into an arena of established and/or well-funded competitors. We had to make sure to get the best out of every Euro or Dollar we spent, and I think we did well on that front from a growth-per-capital perspective!
We also struggled a bit with the length of the sales cycle this business is exposed to and had to counteract that by doing our very best to feed the funnel and achieve as many new customers as possible in the shortest timeframe – which we did.
