What were the key milestones and successes for your company in 2024?
We went live with real money games last autumn, so this year has all been about getting real money up and running. That means integrating more game makers to increase the number of games we offer. This year has seen new strategic partnerships with top developers like Push Gaming, Realistic Games, and Play’n GO, which has really allowed us to offer players more choice.
It’s also been about educating players about the new option to play for real money. It has always been important to us to be a safe destination for fun play and prizes, and that’s the case whether players come for real-money games or free slots tournaments.
We’ve fostered this community of slots fans who trust us and it’s important that we maintain that trust through the way we operate. A big part of that is about educating players, talking about the difference between high and low volatility, for example, and helping them understand the mathematical models in slots so they can make better decisions about what they want to play.
What were the biggest challenges your company faced this year, and how did you successfully navigate them?
Getting new NDPs without offering big welcome bonuses. From our origins as an affiliate site offering free slots play and tournaments to our new status as a real-money operator in the UK, we’ve never been about just blitzing players with bonus offers, and we don’t think that’s the way the regulated market is going.
We navigated this by offering small stakes and low buy-ins. You can enter a slot tournament for as little as 1p. That gives the player a reason to deposit without risking a big investment while they try us out, and the good value adds stickiness.
We also believe that the small-stakes approach is socially responsible. Most people see gambling as entertainment and are content with small wins and small losses. So we’re really giving a big demographic of gamblers exactly what they want.
