What were the key milestones and successes for Swintt in 2024?
Straight off the bat, Swintt celebrated its five-year anniversary in April – which is a huge milestone for any company, let alone one in iGaming – but in terms of more tangible successes, there are a couple that spring to mind. Firstly, the acquisition of Elysium Studios was a huge step forward for us that served to take Swintt’s offering to the next level.
Secondly, we went live in the UK and Ontario, both of which will be huge markets for us going into 2025. I believe the two things are closely connected, because Elysium Studios games are perfect for audiences in these countries.
What were the biggest challenges Swintt faced this year, and how did you successfully navigate them?
It probably won’t come as a huge surprise to read that constantly shifting regulations and changes to compliance requests had a big impact on our business in 2024, so I really have to give credit to our compliance and operations teams for helping us stay on top of things in that respect.
Beyond that, we saw the level of competition among suppliers get even higher last year, so we really had to be on our toes to ensure that our games were consistently innovative and engaging. I think the acquisition of Elysium Studios definitely played an important role in us achieving this.
