What are the primary goals and growth strategies Bede Gaming is focusing on for 2025, and how do you plan to differentiate yourself in an increasingly competitive market?
As I mentioned previously, our new strategic vision is to ensure that Bede is a market-leading platform provider capable of offering an exceptional product that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
To facilitate this, we’ve been exploring growth opportunities in our existing markets, continuing to support the success of our current customer portfolio, as well as the possibility of expanding our outreach into new territories.
Our product roadmap goals include launching an enhanced player health toolkit to provide automated, real-time gambling harm intervention as well as improving our security and player access controls.
Discovering new player engagement opportunities is another area of growth for us, and we’ve introduced quite a few improvements already in this area, including dynamic segmentation, slot leaderboard tournaments, free lottery tickets and offering more choice to operators in terms of how they manage successful promotions and campaigns.
What trends are you expecting to see in 2025, and how are you planning to adapt your product offerings and marketing strategies to cater to these changes?
I believe the industry’s focus on RG enhancements is only going intensify, particularly when it comes to early intervention protocol and the use of automated actions.
At Bede, we’re excited about the research we’re doing on how to innovate in this area and believe our player health toolkit has the potential to offer vital support to customers when they need it most.
As a platform provider, we’re supporting the pilot scheme for Gamprotect – which is an industry-first data sharing platform for UK operators that enables them to pool information regarding high-risk players – and we’re also keeping an eye on developments in relation to Ontario's highly anticipated self-exclusion scheme, which we’re hoping to hear more about in 2025.
As a final consideration, I expect AI adoption to increase in the iGaming industry and Bede will continue to work with industry leaders in this sector over the coming year.
