Bet365 is responding to bettors' demands by expanding its offering of Opta-powered player and team stats bets across more elite football competitions in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
This expansion is made possible through a partnership with Stats Perform, and it involves an extension of Stats Perform's Opta data feed, designed for trusted player and team stats betting. With this expansion, licensed sportsbooks can now offer Opta-powered player and team stats markets for nearly double the previous coverage, encompassing over 7,000 matches per year in total.
Andrew Ashenden, Chief Betting Officer at Stats Perform, expressed enthusiasm for the expansion: "Collecting and supplying Opta data for an additional 3,000 new matches to the standard required for frictionless, trusted player stats betting experiences is the culmination of months of work from our expert teams.
We are delighted that this ambition has been recognized by bet365, who have added these new competitions to their offering at the earliest opportunity."
In addition to expanded Opta data feed coverage, Stats Perform has introduced tools to enhance the betting experience and trading confidence:
Opta Trading Viewer: Helps sportsbook trading teams optimize their trading, pricing, and settlement workflows for stats markets.
Same Game Multi Assistant: A fully hosted application inside Stats Perform’s Content Player Pro, assisting bettors in finding in-form players across multiple stats categories for various global leagues.
Stats Perform's Opta data is widely used by leading teams, leagues, broadcasters, publishers, sports apps, and brands to enhance the fan experience and provide detailed insights into on-field action. This expansion aims to meet the growing demand for stats-based betting experiences.
Andrew Ashenden emphasized the continued innovation in the space, saying, "We're proud to be at the forefront of such innovation, grateful to our teams for their consistently high-quality work and to our licensed sportsbook partners like bet365 for their creativity and support. What’s more, this is still only the beginning of our ambitions to grow the space even further."
