Boomerang Digital, the recently launched gaming solutions business led by Andrew Ludlow and his partners from Air Dice, has wasted no time in making its mark on the industry by announcing its inaugural acquisition.
Joining forces with the UK's newest gaming brand is IHL Tech, a compliance and self-exclusion innovator founded by Peter Hannibal, Howard Gant, and Paul Harris in 2016.
The addition of IHL to the Boomerang Digital family marks a significant step for the burgeoning company, which already includes technology brands NRM, ISD, and Big Deal Games under its umbrella.
Andrew Ludlow emphasized the strategic importance of the acquisition, stating, "It’s all about the three P’s – namely people, philosophy, and the IHL platform. Factor in the ability to leverage IHL’s skills, knowledge, and experience into other parts of the Boomerang business, and it’s very clear that this represents a strategically important acquisition."
Ludlow continued, highlighting the critical role of compliance in the regulatory framework of the gaming industry, both in the UK and globally. He expressed confidence that the integration of IHL into Boomerang would expedite the achievement of mutual targets.
The Chairman of IHL, Peter Hannibal, shared his optimism about the development, stating, "Being integrated within the Boomerang Digital business will release the potential that’s in the business courtesy of having access to a bigger team and to greater resource." He sees the move as an excellent opportunity for accelerated business growth within an independent enterprise.
The acquisition not only expands Boomerang Digital's portfolio but also reinforces its commitment to compliance and regulatory standards in the gaming sector. As the integration progresses, both companies are poised to embark on a new chapter of growth and innovation in 2024.
