Catena Media has announced the appointment of Erik Edeen as its new temporary CFO, replacing outgoing CFO Peter Messner.
Edeen will assume his new responsibilities after Messner departs from the company this summer.
Edeen brings over 15 years of experience in leadership roles within the financial departments of major corporations and most recently served as an advisor for a large media firm.
Notably, Edeen previously led Catena Media's financial division on a temporary basis prior to Messner's appointment. Catena Media CEO Michael Daly expressed his excitement about having Edeen back on the team, citing his vast experience and previous work with the company as valuable assets.
Catena Media has been expanding its operations in the United States, including a recent contract with publishing firm Lee Enterprises to distribute its content across more than half of the country's jurisdictions.
