GAMOMAT, a leading independent developer in the iGaming industry, has strengthened its “Gaming for the Climate” initiative with the addition of its latest title, Alexandria Fire.
Launched in 2021, the “Gaming for the Climate” initiative supports global efforts to tackle the climate crisis. Alexandria Fire marks the fourth title to join the initiative, reinforcing GAMOMAT’s partnership with the environmental organization WeForest.
As part of this initiative, a portion of the revenue from Alexandria Fire will be donated to WeForest to help restore and protect the threatened afromontane forests. Alexandria itself is facing rising sea levels, and the collaboration aims to combat desertification, which threatens both the environment and local communities in Africa. WeForest’s work to restore water cycles and reduce CO₂ aligns with GAMOMAT’s sustainability mission.
Set in the historical Mediterranean city of Alexandria, Alexandria Fire brings players on a journey with the goddess Isis to restore the legendary flame of the Pharos lighthouse. Part of the popular Fire Respins series, this slot game combines immersive storytelling with a powerful cause, making it available to Bragg operator partners through Bragg HUB and on Whow for social gaming.
Dietmar Hermjohannes, Founder of GAMOMAT, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We’re incredibly proud to be growing our Gaming for the Climate initiative. Each year, we’ve enhanced the initiative by adding a game that is thematically linked to global initiatives fighting the climate crisis.
This partnership is more than just business: the funds raised will support WeForest’s inspiring mission of ‘Making Earth Cooler’ by reducing CO₂ emissions worldwide. WeForest’s holistic approach has profoundly inspired both myself and our entire team, fueling our passion and commitment to this vital cause.”
Through this ongoing initiative, GAMOMAT remains committed to using its platform for environmental advocacy, demonstrating how the gaming industry can contribute to meaningful climate action.
