Today marks a significant milestone for GiG Media as it officially launches its rebrand following the announcement of its spinoff from Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) platform and sportsbook. The newly independent brand will now be known as Gentoo Media.


The rebranding process, announced with great enthusiasm, introduces Gentoo Media as the new name and identity for the company. This rebrand ensures that while the name and visual identity have changed, the core values, team, and quality that GiG Media is known for remain the same.


The transition to Gentoo Media marks a crucial development in the company’s history as it becomes a standalone business in the latter half of 2024. The company has a strong track record, having dominated the iGaming affiliate market with 13 successive quarters of all-time high revenue and a robust EBITDA margin reaching 48% in the last quarter.


Gentoo Media will continue to focus on delivering superior results, fostering growth, and establishing sustainable long-term partnerships. The rebrand is a tribute to GiG Media’s Rebel Penguin heritage, with the name Gentoo inspired by an Antarctic penguin species known for thriving through unity and collaboration. This new identity symbolizes the next chapter in the company’s legacy, highlighting its commitment to shaping the future of affiliation.


From today, GiG Media will operate under the Gentoo brand, with a refreshed array of assets reflecting the new identity.
