Clarion Gaming, the leading event organizer, has strengthened its team of ICE Ambassadors, key influencers in the global gaming industry, with the addition of Karen Marcela Sierra-Hughes, Vice President of Latin America Caribbean and Spain at GLI.
With a background in law and a Master’s in Commercial Law, Sierra-Hughes has extensive experience in gaming, sports betting, and lottery sectors. She has been a driving force in shaping the regulated gaming sector in Latin America and the Caribbean, aligning it with international best practices.
Stuart Hunter, Managing Director at Clarion Gaming, expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment, stating, “The ICE Ambassador team comprises a corps of international thought leaders drawn from all sectors of the industry who give their time, insight, and advice freely."

Significantly, she also knows the industry from a different perspective, having previously served as Legal Director of the Panama Gaming Control Board."
Sierra-Hughes’ appointment comes as ICE London 2024, the world’s largest gaming industry trade show, prepares to welcome over 600 exhibitors and up to 45,000 attendees. The event provides a unique platform for networking with international decision-makers, regulators, operators, and innovators across all gaming sectors and verticals.
