Marina Ostrovtsova Reflects On A Year Of Growth For BGaming

With 2024 in the rear-view mirror, we caught up with Marina Ostrovtsova, BGaming’s CEO, to reflect on an extremely positive 12 months for the company. We discuss the year’s highlights, collaborations, industry changes, and what 2025 will bring.

What were BGaming’s biggest gaming achievements in 2024?

Well, at BGaming, every year feels like a new adventure, and 2024 was no different. It was packed with thrilling game releases, all aimed at keeping things fresh, fun, and engaging for everyone. We launched over 50 new titles, and one of our biggest projects was Aztec Clusters.

It wasn’t just another slot; it was a game born from the collaboration with our esteemed partner, Casinolytics. We dug through thousands of hours of online casino streams to make sure every little detail was spot on. From the cluster-pay mechanics to the progressive multipliers, we made sure the game was all about fun and minimizing frustration, making it the perfect fit for streamers and players alike.

Then, there was Snoop Dogg Dollars. Yep, you read that right — we actually teamed up with the one and only Snoop Dogg to make our first celebrity-branded online slot. And let me tell you, it was an instant hit. It took off on social media, with millions of views and tons of player engagement across different platforms.

And as if that wasn't enough, we also introduced two trademark features, Spin Up™ and MultiDice X™, giving players a totally new gaming experience and proving that BGaming is so much more than a game provider.

Can you tell us about BGaming's work to enhance its presence in the industry during 2024?

In 2024, BGaming had one big goal: to get our name out there and ensure more people knew about us and our games. It was all about reaching new players and really making a bigger impact in the industry.

A huge part of that was expanding into new markets. We launched in five new countries — Bulgaria, Slovakia, Switzerland, Lithuania, and Portugal — and got certified in six more! We didn’t just break into new territories; we deepened our roots in key regions like Spain, Belgium, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Romania, and Mexico, ensuring that players in these countries get the very best of what we offer.

We also focused a lot on building relationships. This year, we teamed up with over 1,100 new casinos. It was amazing to see how many people wanted to work with us and spread the word about BGaming. And then, there were the events — oh man, our calendar was packed! We attended over 20 industry events, traveling all over the place to stay in the loop and keep

BGaming front and center. Every trip felt like a chance to meet new people, share our passion for gaming, and learn from others in the industry.

Looking back, 2024 was all about growth and making new connections. We’re proud of everything we’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what new adventures 2025 will bring!

You have also collaborated with multiple streamers to help connect with audiences. How important have they been to your progress?

A while back, we realized how important streamers are for connecting with the new generation of gamers. I still remember the first time we saw one of our games being streamed live — thousands of people were watching and engaging, and it hit us how powerful this partnership could be.

Today, over 700 gambling streamers play BGaming’s games, helping us reach millions of potential players worldwide. They’ve given us direct access to a key audience, and we’re proud to help them grow their communities, too.

At BGaming, we really value collaboration, and streamers have turned out to be some of our best partners. We’re eager to keep finding new ways to work together. BGaming is a company that strongly prioritizes social initiatives. Could you share more about your achievements beyond the iGaming sector in 2024?

At BGaming, we believe our responsibility to our players goes far beyond slot reels and crash games. We really care about giving back and using our platform to raise awareness for important causes. Throughout 2024, we’ve tried to make a positive impact at industry events by supporting different social initiatives.

For example, at the SBC Summit in Lisbon, we contributed to the European Intercultural Club, and at SiGMA Americas in São Paulo, we supported the A7MA Galeria Institute, helping local children in the area.

Another initiative that’s been really rewarding is our "When Art Meets Gaming" project. This one’s close to my heart because it gives local artists a chance to shine. At ICE this year, we featured Nuriatoll, a talented Barcelona-based artist who uses street art to speak out for social justice. By collaborating with artists like Nuriatoll, we get to blend the worlds of art and gaming, giving our players and partners a fresh perspective on both.

And honestly, it’s a lot of fun to bring some color and creativity to industry events. It’s not just about standing out, but also about supporting the amazing work of these artists and showing that gaming can be about more than just the games themselves. It’s about connecting, raising awareness, and giving back.

It has also been a landmark year for BGaming in terms of industry recognition. Please tell us more about that.

For sure, it’s been a defining year for BGaming, and getting recognition for our hard work has been so fulfilling. Winning Best Game Studio at the SiGMA Awards Europe was a proud moment, especially knowing the effort we put in. And when Snoop Dogg Dollars snagged Best Collaboration at the SlotWise Awards, it was a reminder that taking creative risks can pay off.

But it wasn’t just about the company recognition — it was incredible to see our team members shine, too. Yulia Alekseeva, our CPO, won Product Manager of the Year at the CasinoBeats Developer Awards. Yulia has been a powerhouse, and it was so great to see her get the recognition she truly deserves.

On a personal note, winning Leader of the Year at the SBC Awards was a huge honor for me, but honestly, it’s a reflection of the amazing team I have around me. Their hard work, passion, and support are what made it possible. It's been a year of growth, recognition, and joint teamwork, and I’m just really grateful for it all.

What trends do you expect to define the iGaming industry in 2025, and how does BGaming intend to work on them?

I think 2025 is going to be a year of major change in iGaming. With technologies like AI continuing to evolve, it’s going to reshape not just how we work but also how players engage with games.

Customization, localization, and socialization have been hot topics in 2024, and I’m sure that will only grow this year. Players aren’t looking to just hit spin on a slot; they want more than the usual experience, something that’s tailored to them and feels unique. That’s what we’re really focusing on at BGaming.

And, of course, we’ll continue exploring new markets. The iGaming industry is growing fast, and there are so many opportunities out there. BGaming wants to be right at the heart of all this change, pushing the limits and helping shape what’s next for the industry.

Whatever 2025 has in store, we’re ready!
