In a recent announcement, The Rank Group PLC (‘Rank’) revealed the appointment of Jon Martin to the newly established position of Chief Operating Officer for the company.
Jon Martin, currently serving as the Managing Director for Rank Interactive since 2020, will assume his new role this summer and relocate to the UK from Gibraltar later this year.
As Chief Operating Officer, Jon will retain his existing responsibilities for overseeing the strategy and performance of Rank Interactive. In addition, he will assume overall accountability for enhancing and delivering Rank's cross-channel customer experience and service for the Mecca and Grosvenor brands.
Jon's primary focus will be leveraging Rank's proprietary technology to provide customers with a seamless and distinctive cross-channel experience, catering to their preferences whether they choose to play at Grosvenor and Mecca venues or online.
John O’Reilly, CEO of Rank, said: “I am delighted that Jon will take on a broader role here at Rank, testament to the hard work and delivery of our continued success across the digital gaming market. I have no doubt that Jon taking on these broader responsibilities will benefit Rank immensely.”
Jon Martin said: “I am excited about the prospect of delivering the next stage of Rank’s growth, focussing on a more seamless brand experience between our venues and digital offerings, whilst continuing to oversee our upward digital trajectory. A key priority will be working more closely with our venues’ management teams, whilst utilising our proprietary technology to deliver a more compelling customer experience for existing and new cross-channel customers.”
To ensure the smooth operations of Rank's UK-facing digital business, the company has initiated a formal search process for the role of Managing Director for Rank Interactive, based in Gibraltar.
The appointment of Jon Martin as Chief Operating Officer reflects Rank's strategic focus on enhancing the customer experience and driving growth across its digital gaming and physical venue offerings.
