Sports Information Services (SIS), a prominent provider of 24/7 live betting services, has officially rolled out its Competitive Gaming esports products with Codere.
The launch marks a significant expansion, making these offerings available across both retail and online platforms in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, and Spain.
This strategic partnership introduces SIS’s non-tournament esports events, featuring popular eSoccer and eBasketball competitions from the H2H Global Gaming League™, to Codere’s customers in these rapidly growing markets.
The Competitive Gaming platform, designed specifically for sportsbooks and built around the principles of integrity, aims to offer continuous betting opportunities. With over 150,000 events annually, it promises to deliver superior margins, potentially adding up to 10% in value to sportsbooks.
The collaboration with Codere further cements SIS’s position as a leading content provider, extending its audience reach and enhancing the engagement with its Competitive Gaming content. This move highlights the increasing demand for esports betting in Spanish-speaking regions and demonstrates SIS’s commitment to expanding its presence in these key markets.
All Competitive Gaming events are produced entirely in-house at SIS’s state-of-the-art gaming studios in the UK.
These events are characterized by ultra-low latency live streaming, sub-second reaction times, and the presence of ESIC-trained referees to ensure integrity. Additionally, on-screen graphics with unique betting prompts are incorporated to heighten viewer engagement and interactivity.
Angel Calderon, Head of Sales for Iberia, UK & Europe at SIS, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership: “Partnering with Codere emphasizes the strides we are making in Spanish-speaking markets, furthering our reach and speed-to-market in the region.
We are delighted to be able to provide our round-the-clock eSoccer and eBasketball content to Codere and believe that it will not only serve to increase choice to their customers but also drive significant additional revenues.”
Sergio Garcia, Sportsbook Operations Manager at Codere, added: “Our goal is to enhance our standing in the market by having the best range of betting products available, and this integration helps us achieve that goal. SIS is renowned for providing a wide range of highly engaging premium action that captivates a wide demographic of bettors across both retail and online channels.”
This collaboration marks a pivotal moment for both companies, as they look to capitalize on the growing popularity of esports betting and provide a superior gaming experience to their customers in these vibrant markets.
