Independent slots developer Thunderkick is continuing its global expansion by entering the Italian market through a partnership with leading local operator CasinoMania.

This move is part of the company's strategic focus on enhancing its presence in Europe and increasing its market share in key regions.

The collaboration with CasinoMania, a well-established brand under the Cristaltec Group, marks a significant step for Thunderkick as it targets new commercial opportunities in Italy’s lucrative slots market. CasinoMania offers a broad range of gaming products, including sports betting, live casino, table games, and popular slots, making it a prominent operator in the region.

Under the terms of the partnership, Thunderkick’s innovative portfolio of games will be integrated into CasinoMania’s platform. This includes both newly launched titles and fan-favourites, which are expected to enhance customer engagement and broaden Thunderkick’s player base in Italy.

"CasinoMania is a respected operator in Italy that has cultivated a catalogue of entertaining games from industry leaders. We are sure the addition of Thunderkick’s unique, cutting-edge titles will only strengthen this offering further," said Andrea Brioschi, Key Account Manager at Thunderkick.

This latest partnership is part of Thunderkick’s broader growth strategy, which has seen the Stockholm-based studio expand into various regulated markets across Europe and North America. After a successful launch in Ontario, Canada, Thunderkick is now turning its focus back to Europe, with Italy being a key target market.

Some of the studio’s most popular games that will soon be available to CasinoMania players include recent releases Midas Golden Touch 2, King of the Party, and Sword of Arthur, as well as fan-favourites like Xterminate and Hot Potato!.

Thunderkick’s expansion comes on the back of a strong first half of 2024, with the company outlining ambitions to further increase its presence in key European markets, including Italy, where it sees significant potential to grow its player base.

Cristaltec Group's Calvi Lorenzo, Member of the Board of Directors, expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership: “We are excited to announce the new partnership with Thunderkick, which will allow us to expand our offering of high-quality games in CasinoMania's online casino. This partnership will enable us to provide our customers with a wide selection of excellent games, demonstrating our continuous commitment to exceeding expectations in the iGaming sector."

Thunderkick’s games are known for their unique design and engaging gameplay, and this collaboration is expected to add further depth to CasinoMania’s extensive gaming portfolio, enhancing the experience for Italian players.

With this new partnership, Thunderkick is positioning itself for sustained growth in Italy, capitalizing on the market’s demand for high-quality, innovative slot games. The collaboration is set to boost the company's profile in the region and attract new players eager to explore its cutting-edge gaming content.
