Independent slot studio Thunderkick is gearing up for significant growth in the Romanian market by securing a direct partnership with Skywind Group, a major operator in the country.
The deal entails Thunderkick's portfolio, featuring recent popular releases like Hot Potato and Hellapenos, going live on Skywind Group’s flagship platforms, including Luck.com and Princess Casino.
Skywind Group, recognized as one of the top online casino companies in Romania, is expected to play a pivotal role in Thunderkick's expansion plans within this crucial market. Additionally, the collaboration sets the stage for potential growth in Germany, Latin America, and the United Kingdom.
Founded in 2012, Skywind Group offers premium iGaming content and innovative solutions, boasting over 200 first-party games and a strong presence in 19 regulated markets globally.
This strategic partnership follows Thunderkick's recent agreements with industry players such as Alea and Gamingtec, marking a continued upward trajectory for the independent slots studio over the past twelve months.
Fredrik Ekholm, Head of Sales at Thunderkick, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating: “Romania is a key market for us at Thunderkick, so we’re thrilled to be partnering with Skywind Group to bring our portfolio of dynamic, exciting games to a much wider player base."
Ekholm added, “Skywind Group is a leader in Romania with a reputation for delivering standout gameplay experiences, and we’re confident that customers will enjoy diving into what we have to offer.”
Daniela Asaftei, Head of CRM at Skywind Group, shared her excitement, saying: “Thunderkick has become one to watch over the past few years, and we’re excited to be able to offer its games to players throughout Romania – we truly think they’re going to love them."
“This partnership allows us to offer even more innovative, next-level games to our partnered operators, strengthening our brand whilst also allowing Thunderkick to grow even further in a key market.”
