Thunderkick, the independent slots studio, has announced the appointment of Ariadna Ölund as its new Account Manager, aimed at driving the company’s expansion across Latin America.
This strategic hire marks a significant step in Thunderkick’s ongoing efforts to diversify its team, following the previous addition of Italian native Andrea Brioschi. Ölund’s appointment will help the company sharpen its focus on the Latin American market, tailoring its product offering to meet the specific demands of this growing region.
Based in Stockholm, Ölund brings extensive experience from the marketing and communications sector, having held roles such as PR Communications Manager and Marketing Communications Manager. Born in Barcelona and fluent in Spanish, she will play a crucial role in building relationships with clients in key Latin American markets such as Mexico, Colombia, and Paraguay. Her ability to speak the language and understand the cultural nuances will be instrumental in strengthening Thunderkick’s presence in these regions.
Ölund’s journey with Thunderkick began at the company’s Stockholm headquarters, and she is set to represent the firm at the upcoming SBC Summit in Lisbon, where she plans to meet with potential clients and further solidify Thunderkick’s network in the region.
Thunderkick made its debut in Latin America earlier this year, entering Mexico through a partnership with Rushbet, a brand owned by Rush Street Interactive. The company has since been focused on expanding into other regulated markets in Latin America, a task for which Ölund’s expertise will be critical.
