Swedish Gambling Authority extends licence for leading operator until 2028.
In a significant development, the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA) has granted a five-year licence renewal to Videoslots, solidifying the operator's presence in the Swedish market until the close of 2028. This renewal stands as the maximum extension allowable by the SGA for operators.
Since the inception of the regulated market in 2019, Videoslots has been a prominent player in Sweden, operating under its flagship brand from day one and, more recently, alongside the emerging star, Mr. Vegas.
The extension comes on the heels of a successful 2023 for Videoslots, marked by the milestone release of its 10,000th slot and the expansion into the Ontario market.
Ulle Skottling, Deputy CEO at Videoslots, emphasized the significance of the news, stating, "This renewal not only reinforces our foothold in Europe and the Nordics but also validates our unwavering commitment to a player-centric approach.
We are steadfast in our business and compliance efforts, and we appreciate the SGA's recognition and continued confidence in our practices. This decision aligns seamlessly with our strategic plans for 2024."
The extended licence from the SGA underscores Videoslots' dedication to operating at the highest standards while maintaining compliance, setting the stage for continued success and growth in the Swedish market and beyond.
